Neologism—Petrino

If you can patent life forms, why not words? Here’s my claim for the verb form of “Petrino.”

Petrino’s, um, grand exit from the Falcons has been well documented. We’ve made up better words—blog, for instance—and far less useful words—oh, say, wardrobe malfunction. I think the language is richer and more wonderful with this one in the lexicon.

  1. Jamie,
Hilarious. At last Wednesday’s meeting, JC, CG and i were talking about how “to pull a Petrino” was going to become part of the Atlanta vernacular. You were there in spirit it seems!
